Review: Andrew Edmunds

46 Lexington St, London W1F 0LW, United Kingdom || +44 20 7437 5708 || ££ || Take Reservations

Saturday night date spot =), been dying to try out this place and it did not disappoint! cozy little place as many have mentioned, have a downstairs basement as well, tables quite close together and very lively as everyone's chatting away. Good thing is they take reservations unlike many other small places.

Here's the menu for the night which tends to change often based on their ingredients, one of the things I love about the spot and another reason why I'll be coming back.

There was four of us but there was plenty of choices for all. They also have an extensive wine list, had forgotten the bottle we got but was a bold Red Spanish made which went perfect with the red meats we had for mains. The waiter was quite quirky but delightful enough =). The ingredients are all very fresh and the portions are plenty for the price, which is an impressive part for fine dining. Quite a refreshing experience to have gourmet food in a more laid back, unpretentious setting with a casual crowd in London! Definitely coming back often given its 5 mins from where I live.
Stilton & Leek Soup, very delicious!!

Baked Bacon & Scallops
Baked Brie with Pita & Cranberry Sauce! - for 2 to share
Angus Beef with Potato Wedges and Bearnaise sauce

Duck Breast
Dessert menu but we were all too full to try, shame!
